This photo was taken in the early 1960's by Reverend K.F.Lord in Newby Church, North Yorkshire. 

He reportedly said that he saw nothing unusual while he photographed the Alter, but after developing the picture this startling image appeared. 

There have been claims that this is a hoax...... but after film had been rigorously tested it has been concluded that the film had not been tampered with.
