The now famous photograph taken in 1966 by Reverend Ralph Hardy, a retired clergyman from White rock, British Columbia. 

He had intended to take a picture of the spiral staircase, known as the Tulip staircase in the Queen's house section of the Maritime museum in Greenwich UK. 

When the photograph was developed it appears to show a shrouded figure climbing the stairs.
